Experience and enjoy a camping holiday in comfort in Bavaria's number one cycling centre

In the middle of Germany and the middle of the Main-Spessart holiday region, near Gemünden, the city of four rivers, a choice of sunny, half-shaded and shady 100 to 200 m² pitches is waiting for you, some right by the water and adjoining the canal.
Gemünden is in the centre of the biggest connected cycling route network in Germany. The city is a central attraction for all kinds of cyclists.
The cycling routes along the Sinn, Fränkische Saale and Wern rivers, and the Mainradweg 5-star cycle route offer leisure cyclists and families with children a wealth of landscapes and interesting sights. What's more, the destinations are chosen so that the return journey can generally be made by train.
For experienced cyclists, there are cycle routes through hilly country, and mountain bikers will find, in "Bikerwald Spessart 1 + 2," 28 routes with various levels of difficulty over a total of 850 km.
The curving Spessart roads with little traffic are a fascinating secret tip for motorbike riders.
And we mustn't forget the famous Franconian cuisine. There are marvellous special game dishes of all kinds from the Spessart forest, and from the end of April to the beginning of June there are asparagus weeks with asparagus cut daily in nearby fields.
In June, the strawberries arrive, also straight from the fields. From September, there is a wide choice of various mushrooms from the largest broad-leafed forest region in Germany, as well as Zwiebelkuchen (onion flan) served with "Bremser" (grape must) – and not forgetting: Franconian wine!
In Franconia, people like to party, and when the site is open from April to September, we are delighted to welcome guests.
