As a nature lover you can take home with you especially valuable experiences on Kratzmühle camping site in the middle of Altmühltal Nature Park.
Right next to the flow of the Altmühl reaches the area which is structured by terraces and to which belongs a 17-hectar wide bathing lake.
Pitches can be found next to the river, close to the edge of the forest or in between on one of the terraces from which the beautiful view over the Altmühltal can be enjoyed. This family friendly site is the ideal starting point for excursions, for example to “Altmühltal Nature Park” or to the Altmühltal adventure park.
Cycling and hiking are not without reason some of the favourite leisure activities. Romantic towns, villages and market towns await you in the area, which can be discovered by food or bike without greater effort. In a 50 km surrounding many strongholds and castles may be visited. Become a witness of a moving history as the many museums in the area show prehistoric remains of the times of the Romans, Celtics, and the age of chivalry, which create a unique cultivated land.
