At Camping Monte Kaolino in Hirschau, our extensive range of leisure offers - unique in the world - for the whole family are waiting for you.
Nestling in the beautiful and varied landscape of the Oberpfälzer Wald forest is Monte Kaolino, 150 m high, a dune landscape, unique in the world, of more than 32 million metric tons of quartz sand.
At Monte Kaolino you can sand ski, sand board, ride a minibob, go paragliding, tobogganing and/or enjoy an unforgettable roller coaster experience with the Monte Coaster.
The solar-heated open-air dune pool (entry is free for campers) with sunbathing lawn, sandy beach, water playground, activity pool and 50 m long water slide will ensure you have plenty of reviving water fun, and is directly by the site. Choose your favourite spot from among 330 pitches - 20 of these are mobile home pitches - and experience the glorious landscape of the Fränkische Alb hills and the Fränkische Schweiz/Veldensteiner Forst natural park, together with the rolling hills and higher peaks of Cretaceous, Keuper and Early Triassic rocks.
