Idyllic, peaceful surroundings are waiting for you in the heart of the Chiemgau region – at Camping Stein.
The Camping Stein lies right on the Simssee lake in its natural environment, in the middle of the Upper Bavarian region of Chiemgau and close to the Chiemsee lake. The lovingly landscaped site has leafy pitches and a large sunbathing lawn, inviting you to relax.
Discover the surrounding lake and wetland landscape of the Chiemgau lakes on foot or by bike, together with the Eggstätt-Hemhofer and Seeoner lakes, which are ecologically linked. Then reward yourself after your excursion with a trip to one of the cosy and authentic nearby beer gardens, or enjoy a wellness day in the Chiemgau Therme spa. Site guests can get to these places using the free local bus.
Far away from busy roads, your children can learn about nature and the animal world with our donkeys and ponies. Jump into the lake or enjoy an ice cream to refresh yourself from time to time.
If the weather is not inviting for swimming, you have the option of taking a trip by car or rail to Rosenheim, Munich and Salzburg.
