Wake up listening to twittering birds and seeing the idyllically situated Hammersee at the health resort Bodenwöhr in the Upper Palatinate lake district.
Amidst original nature, close to the picturesque nature reserve Weichselbrunn, calmness loving epicures find pure relaxation and recreation. The scenic lake is an enjoyment for swimmers, paddlers, and anglers and the level road network is an insiders’ tip for relaxed and diversified hiking.
There are spacious playgrounds for children, a large swimming trampoline and in case of bad weather there are many captivating opportunities to take part in.
Discover the 20 km long lakeside loop way and Europe’s longest fish nature trail, the Goldsteig, which is situated just nearby. Medieval Regensburg, a World heritage, is another significant destination.
